8101 Information Technology- Infrastructure and Operations
Schedule Details - First Shift - U.S. - 40 hours weekly - 8:00am-5:00pm
Overview: The ServiceNow Administrator is the key position for maintaining the ServiceNow instances in the organization. The administrator manages access (users and groups), maintains instance performance with regular checkups, deploys new functionality, builds dashboards, performance and other reports, sets up notifications and alerts for the ServiceNow instance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Improves business processes and manages continuous improvement projects.
· Analyzes the current environment and proposes automation whenever possible.
· Manages functionality and process documentation.
· Coordinates upgrades and changes to the ServiceNow instance.
· Manages permissions and access (roles, access, and groups).
· Guides business users with the process and ServiceNow.
· Maintains instance performance with regular checkups.
· Troubleshoots day-to-day operation and system issues.
· Works with the ServiceNow vendor to resolve issues.
· Deploys update sets from Production and non-prod environments.
· Sets up reports and schedules.
· Sets up notifications and alerts.
· Develops dashboards to monitors KPI.
· Works closely with Project Managers and business stakeholders and implements
Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.
· Maintains the Service Catalog and Service Level Management.
· Manages Access Control lists and scripts like server scripts and client scripts.
· Manages Configuration Management Database (CMBD) health.
· Manages Asset Management module.
· Develops and manages standard load templates to import updated data.
· Resolves basic incidents and fulfills routine service request.
· Provides training to end-users and business owners.
· Performs other duties as specified by the IT Operations Director.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related experience required.
· Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience required.
· ServiceNow – Certified System Administrator experience required.
