Work schedule: Hybrid, going to the office in GDL for 3 days

 

ROLE AT A GLANCE: 

The Global Mobility & Immigration Specialist will be the main point of contact for domestic and international mobilizations, assisting employees, business leaders, and HRBPs through the mobilization life cycle in the region.  The Specialist will assist with securing and maintaining work visas in multiple countries.  The position will also support the Global Mobility Director in developing a world class, innovative mobility program with a strong commitment to positive employee experience.

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: 

•    End to end responsibility for mobilizations including cost estimates, briefings with employees, and initiation and coordination of services with vendors.•    Effectively partners with the business, various corporate functions and HRBP’s to provide advice and guidance on mobility issues in multiple countries and regions.•    Assist with the management of Herbalife mobility policies, program and governance across the globe.•    Effectively partners with various jurisdiction payrolls, A/P and finance stakeholders to ensure the highest level of compliance.•    Leads and assists with the year-end compensation accumulation process project.•    Partners with equity program manager and tax vendor to source income in multiple jurisdictions •    Strategize with HRBP and business leaders on recommending best employee mobility type that will meet business needs•    Provides key input and support on Global Mobility projects.•    Responsible for partnering with immigration provider to secure and maintain work visas in multiple jurisdictions •    Leads and participates in ongoing status call with all regions across multiple time-zones.•    Consult on tax program for the internationally mobile population, including ensuring the yearly return filing process is completed in a timely manner, tracking all tax equalization payments•    Effectively communicate and consults with employee, manager, and HRBP on all aspects of domestic and Int’l mobility ecosystem. •    Flexible to work as required in multiple time zones•    Ability to partner with mobility team members in multiple time zones to manage cases loads •    Performs other duties as assigned•    Additional duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications

Education 

  • ​​Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,  or a related field preferred.​ 

 

Experience 

  • ​​5 to 7 years​ of experience supporting global mobility, immigration, international assignments, relocation, human resources, or a related function. 

 

Skills/Certifications  

  • Fluent in English: verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  •  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/reporting tools. 
  • Knowledge of global mobility principles, including immigration, international assignments, business travelers, remote work considerations, tax, payroll, and compliance-related matters. 
  • Ability to effectively interact with employees, senior leaders, external vendors, and professional service providers. 
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases and competing priorities in a fast-paced global environment. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risks, interpret policies, and develop practical business solutions. 
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment when managing sensitive and confidential employee and business information. 
  • Advanced customer service orientation with the ability to deliver high-touch support while balancing employee experience, compliance requirements, and business objectives. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and achieve results with limited supervision. 
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to understand the broader workforce, financial, compliance, and operational implications of mobility decisions. 
  • Effectively partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple countries, cultures, and time zones. 
  • Strong global mindset with cultural sensitivities, adaptability, and the ability to navigate diverse business practices and regulatory environments.
