Overview
Susquehanna is looking for a KYC/AML Analyst to join a growing team, supporting the KYC/AML function as a key point of contact for day-to-day due diligence tasks. This person will support the full due diligence lifecycle for counterparties, clients, and vendors, and will help maintain structure around risk assessments, escalations, and periodic reviews, acting as a liaison between the business and Compliance to ensure proper adherence to AML/CTF regulatory requirements and internal policies.
What you’ll do
- Conduct KYC/CDD and EDD reviews for clients, counterparties, and vendors across our APAC offices
- Perform client risk assessments and sanctions/PEP/adverse media screening across the client lifecycle (onboarding, event driven reviews and periodic reviews)
- Analyse complex ownership and control structures, including those of financial institutions, brokers, funds, and trading counterparties
- Identify and escalate AML, sanctions, and reputational risk as applicable
- Maintain accurate KYC records and ensure timely completion of onboarding workflows
- Support transaction-related KYC queries and provide advice to the business stakeholders
- Assist with AML/CTF projects, process improvements, regulatory requests, and audits
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years’ experience in a KYC/AML role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective stakeholder coordination
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong SFC AML/CTF requirements and client due diligence principles
- Experience reviewing corporate structures and complex financial institutions is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders
- Comfortable working autonomously and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Fenergo is preferred
