Helping others improve and turn their lives around – there’s no better feeling. It’s what we do for thousands of people at more than 150 sites across the UK. Be a part of it. We are looking for a confident Deputy Manager with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You’ll be working full time 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday (with on call responsibilities in support of the Service Manager), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Riverside House (GL14 1JE).
Riverside House is situated close to the town of Newnham on Severn in Gloucestershire. We provide a safe and comfortable environment where people are supported to live as independently as possible and to be an active part of their community.
Our goal is to help the people we support to lead full and happy lives. We work closely with each person to find out their strengths, abilities and preferences. This allows us to provide truly personalised care that’s centred on the individual.
Your Day-to-Day…
Ensure the team provides safe, sound & supportive care to the people they support
Be a role model to your team & provide effective leadership & management
Work with multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities & regulatory bodies to deliver a high-quality service & promote a positive culture
Meet quality targets to ensure the service is providing the best support & care possible
We are looking for someone who is...
A talented leader with strong line management & communication skills
Experienced within a mental health setting & a multidisciplinary team
An effective people, time & task manager with a proven track record of working with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care
