Are you an experienced Medical Receptionist looking for your next opportunity in a professional and supportive healthcare environment?

Diagnostic Imaging for Women (difw) is a specialist women’s imaging centre located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. Our dedicated team provides high-quality diagnostic imaging services, with a strong focus on patient care, privacy, dignity and personalised service.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and patient-focused Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis and to assist in our Imaging Queensland clinic from time to time.

About the Role

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be an important part of the patient journey, providing a warm and professional experience from the moment patients arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and compassionate manner
• Managing patient bookings, appointments and enquiries
• Answering incoming calls and responding to patient queries
• Processing referrals and patient information
• Liaising with Radiologists, Sonographers, Mammographers and other members of the clinical team
• Processing payments and Medicare/private health claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous medical reception or healthcare administration experience
• Has excellent customer service and communication skills
• Is confident managing a busy reception and telephone environment
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Is professional, approachable and empathetic
• Can work effectively as part of a close-knit team
• Understands the importance of privacy, confidentiality and patient care

Experience in radiology or specialist medical practices will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
