Senior Radiographer (CT/General)

London, St Paul’s Outpatient Centre
Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Flexible shift pattern across service operating hours
Permanent Contract
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Senior Radiographer (CT/General) to join our Diagnostics team at the St Paul's Outpatient Centre. Located in Paternoster Square in the heart of the City of London, this brand new £17m outpatient, primary care and diagnostics centre is set to open in early 2027. Bringing together GP services, specialist outpatient care and advanced diagnostics, including MRI, ultrasound, X-ray and mammography, the centre has been designed to deliver a seamless experience for patients and colleagues alike. As one of the first colleagues to join this new facility, you'll play a key role in its journey from day one while benefiting from the support, development opportunities and expertise that come with working for the UK's most renowned family of private hospitals.

As a Senior Radiographer (CT/General) in Diagnostics, you’ll be part of a skilled multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality imaging services across both CT and General Radiography. The team plays a vital role in supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, providing exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of imaging practice.

Working across CT and General X-ray, you'll enjoy a varied role combining advanced cross-sectional imaging with a broad range of conventional radiographic examinations. Supporting the delivery of an efficient and patient-centred service, you'll undertake CT procedures including contrast-enhanced studies while maintaining competency across general radiography services. As a senior member of the team, you'll provide day-to-day support to colleagues, contribute to service improvement initiatives and help maintain quality, governance and safety standards across the department. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a diverse skillset within a brand-new diagnostic facility equipped with leading technology and supported by one of the UK's most recognised healthcare organisations.

At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.

What you’ll do:

• Perform high-quality CT examinations, including contrast-enhanced studies, ensuring excellent image quality and patient care throughout the diagnostic pathway
• Undertake a wide range of General Radiography examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards
• Safely perform cannulation and contrast administration while adhering to radiation protection, governance and safety requirements
• Support the day-to-day running of CT and General Radiography services, assisting with workflow management and service delivery
• Contribute to the supervision, training and support of junior radiographers, students and support staff, while participating in audit and quality improvement activities

What you’ll bring:

• Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography
• HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer
• Significant post-registration experience across both CT and General Radiography
• Competency in cannulation and contrast media administration
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamworking skills with the ability to support and mentor colleagues
