Overview
Job Summary
Responsible for emergency medical care in the pre-hospital environment. Works under on-line and off-line medical control providing basic life support. Provides direct care under the supervision of the RN in the Emergency Department or Paramedic.
Job Responsibilities
Supports and assists with the delivery of patient care, under the direction of the RN or Paramedic.
Assists with the maintenance and cleaning of patient care equipment.
Performs routine equipment function tests and calibrations.
Assists with the inventory of supplies and equipment ensuring adequate supply levels.
Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
No Experience
No Supervisor Experience
Class E Drivers License
EMT License
Preferred Qualifications
