Job Description

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-traffic entertainment and retail location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entry points, exterior perimeter, and other assigned areas to help identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and guest activity, report unusual conditions or policy violations, and help support a welcoming environment for patrons and employees.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
