Are you passionate about transforming data into commercial insight and influencing strategic business decisions? As a Senior Pricing Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping pricing strategies across Spain, partnering closely with commercial, finance, franchise, and international pricing teams. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on business performance while working in a collaborative, international environment based in Barcelona.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will become the trusted pricing partner for the commercial organization, helping teams make informed, data driven decisions that improve profitability and support sustainable growth. You will lead pricing initiatives, support complex negotiations, and provide valuable analytical insights that influence strategic decisions.
Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you will:
Develop and execute a pricing capability roadmap for Spain, including pricing frameworks, pricing intelligence, contract compliance monitoring, and product lifecycle management.
Partner with the International Pricing Team to establish local pricing processes and governance models.
Support commercial teams through tenders and pricing proposals for corporate accounts from initial analysis through to final approval.
Monitor and analyse contracts, frameworks, and bespoke commercial agreements to ensure compliance and profitability.
Build and enhance commercial modelling tools and business cases that enable smarter decision making and stronger cross functional collaboration.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from combining strong analytical capability with commercial awareness and the confidence to influence stakeholders across the organization. You will enjoy working with complex data, translating insights into actions, and driving continuous improvement.
Key requirements include:
Strong experience in commercial finance, pricing, business analysis, sales support, or business development, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills together with experience using SAP and/or other pricing, ERP, or commercial analytics platforms.
A proactive and solutions focused mindset, with the confidence to challenge thinking, drive change, and deliver recommendations that create value.
Experience communicating financial and commercial insights to non financial audiences and building strong cross functional relationships.
Proven experience working directly with commercial or business stakeholders, influencing decisions and building strong relationships across multiple functions.
Experience within the medical device, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry would be advantageous, although candidates from other sectors with strong pricing and commercial experience are encouraged to apply.
Fluent English and Spanish language skills, with the ability to communicate confidently across local, regional, and cross functional teams.
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is €49,000 - €73,250 annually.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications, and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location, and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band to ensure consistency and fairness.
