Role Description
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Senior Human Resources Associate to support our HR Leads (Sr. HRBP team) within ZS’ consulting practice. This role is ideal for someone who can support a people strategy by overseeing employee data and rosters and by generating reports and trend analyses. By effectively providing data from our HR systems, you’ll play a key role in enabling workforce insights, supporting business unit priorities, and implementing talent programs across a global, fast-paced professional services firm.
In this role, the Senior HR Associate – HRBP Support will partner with HR Lead to provide operational and programmatic support to the business, supporting key talent projects and objectives.
What you'll do:
Employee Data Management, Roster Support, and Reporting
- Maintain and update HR databases and tools that enable critical talent processes around performance management, workforce planning, internal resource management, etc.
- Maintain and update organizational rosters and org charts.
- Assist with resource management, headcount tracking and position management processes
- Pull and prepare routine and ad-hoc employee data reports using HR systems (e.g., HRIS, time entry, staffing and workforce management, performance, engagement & recognition systems, etc.)
- Conduct basic analyses to identify trends, errors, or discrepancies and escalate as needed
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and summaries for HRBPs and business leaders
Workforce Insights & Planning
- Partner with HR Leads to analyze workforce trends (e.g., headcount, utilization, attrition) and extract insights that inform team structure and staffing decisions
Talent & Performance Programs
- Assist in talent validation preparation, planning, scheduling, invitations
- Support talent validation process – note taking, system entry, tracking and closure of performance flags and actions
- Support the coordination and execution of performance management actions, promotion activities, and talent development processes
Engagement & Culture
- Partner with HR Leads to assess and improve employee engagement across consulting teams, using survey results, feedback forums, and interviews
- Act as a thought partner in the design and implementation of engagement action plans
- Track culture and inclusion program impact and share findings with HR and business teams
Stakeholder & Project Support
- Provide thought partnership and coordination support to HR Leads on priority business initiatives, including team planning, onboarding experiences, and career pathing efforts
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR and COE teams (e.g., Learning, Talent Acquisition, Mobility, HRG) to align services and ensure smooth delivery to the business
- Support strategic projects such as succession planning, workforce rebalancing, and talent reviews
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, people analytics, or a business support function; experience in a consulting or client service environment is a strong plus
- Demonstrated interest in people strategy, workforce planning, or organizational development
- Competence in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, HRIS, etc.; ability to generate polished files and deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder presence
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Trusted with sensitive information and capable of handling confidential matters
- Collaborative mindset and an eagerness to grow within a high-performance HR team
