Contract: Hybrid – Onsite 2-3 days per week & WFH
Type: 12 Month FTC (Maternity Cover). Full Time 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday

As a Risk and Governance Inspector, you'll play a pivotal role in helping us maintain and continuously improve regulatory compliance and quality standards across our UK-wide services.
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your regulatory expertise, operational insight and passion for quality care. You'll work closely with senior leaders and operational teams, influencing positive change, driving improvements, and helping services achieve the highest standards of care for our residents.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and governance reviews across Bupa care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
- Provide expert guidance on regulatory frameworks including CQC, CIW and other key regulatory bodies, supporting services through inspections and compliance challenges.
- Analyse trends, risks and quality data, producing detailed reports and actionable recommendations to support continuous improvement.
- Support services requiring additional quality and governance intervention, helping operational teams manage risk and improve outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic quality improvement initiatives, investigations and organisational learning across the business.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Professional qualification in Health and Social Care, such as Registered Nurse qualification or NVQ Level 4/5 (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of the UK health and social care regulatory environment and quality governance frameworks.
- Experience assessing, auditing, inspecting or reviewing care services against quality and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and build positive working relationships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and deliver clear, evidence-based recommendations.
