The role  

As a Marketing & Business Support Intern, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. Currently enrolled in the third year of a Bachelor's degree or in the first or second year of a Master's degree, this role is designed for a university student who is eager to learn, proactive and interested in gaining hands-on experience in an international digital consultancy.

The intern will gain exposure to both Marketing & Communications and Business Development activities, working closely with colleagues across the organization and supporting initiatives that contribute to Valtech's visibility, client engagement and business development.

The role will have two areas of day-to-day guidance: Marketing & Communications and Business Development, while the internship will have an overall company tutor responsible for the intern's development and experience.

Role responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

• Support the execution of marketing and communication initiatives.
• Assist with content creation and internal communications.
• Translate and adapt content between Spanish and English.
• Support the preparation of presentations, proposals and commercial materials.
• Collaborate in the creation and execution of digital marketing activities, including email marketing and social media.
• Assist in the organization of events, webinars and other promotional activities.
• Conduct market and competitor research.

Business Development

• Support the Business Development team with market and account research.
• Assist in identifying and researching potential clients and business opportunities.
• Support lead generation and prospecting activities.
• Help prepare prospect lists and account intelligence.
• Assist with proposal preparation and other commercial activities.
• Support the organization and maintenance of relevant business development information and CRM data.

Cross-functional support

• Collaborate with different teams across Valtech.
• Support internal initiatives and office activities.
• Gain exposure to the way Marketing, Communications and Business Development work together within a global digital consultancy.

 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

• Currently studying Marketing, Business, Communications, International or a related degree.
• Native or fluent Spanish and strong proficiency in English are mandatory.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented and proactive.
• Curious and eager to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative and international environment.
• Genuine interest in digital marketing, business development and consulting.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce or CMS is a plus.
• Previous professional experience is not required.
