Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong
The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

China Hong KongJob Responsibilities:
Monitor the production of financial data and reports to ensure accurate analysis and interpretations of financial data of the Branch;
Cooperate with BU/SUs to understand their financial data generated to analyze and interpret financial situations of the Branch;
Formulate and implement management accounting tools such as cost allocation and profit sharing;
Perform actual and budget variance analysis on financial results and key financial indicators of the Branch;
Evaluate and analyze the Branch’s performance regularly using key data and suggest ways for improvement if needed;
Prepare accurate presentation of financial management information to support Head Office reporting and others;
Assist supervisors to prepare financial information for ad hoc analysis to support the Senior Management for management presentation and business decisions;
Provide coaching and guidance to subordinates as required to ensure that they are competent to perform the jobs;
Perform ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements:
Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines or a qualified accountant.
Minimum 8 years’ experience in management and financial accounting in banking industry.
Strong analytical skill and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bank’s accounting policies & procedures.
Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good computer skills; Proficiency in MS Office e.g. Excel & PowerPoint and especially in Access and SQL would be an advantage.
Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
