Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Shuttle Driver in Leesport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while following post instructions, reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and maintaining awareness of site activity and/or changing conditions during each shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
