As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail distribution location where you will monitor access points, verify credentials, and support a smooth flow of employees, visitors, and deliveries. In this access control role, you will remain visible, conduct routine security-related activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Observe vehicle, trailer, and/or pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the property, report discrepancies, and document security-related concerns according to post procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting facility conditions and reporting issues that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
