What’s the Role
The Maintenance Technician keeps our fresh food production running safely, reliably, and efficiently by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment across our fresh-cut fruit, vegetable, and meal solutions lines. This role matters because equipment uptime and reliability directly determine our ability to deliver safe, high-quality product to customers across North America every day. The ideal candidate is an experienced industrial maintenance technician who enjoys solving mechanical and electrical problems, thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, and partners closely with Operations to maximize reliability while upholding the highest food safety standards.
What You’ll Own
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability
• Respond quickly to equipment failures and identify root causes to prevent repeat issues
• Inspect production equipment and recommend improvements that increase reliability and efficiency
• Support startup activities and ensure production equipment is ready for daily operations
• Install, align, modify, and relocate manufacturing equipment using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and automated production equipment, including installing and troubleshooting sensors and drives
• Perform equipment changeovers, support production line improvements, and document all maintenance activity using Redzone
• Perform all work in compliance with GMPs, HACCP, OSHA regulations, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), partnering with Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Engineering to maximize equipment performance and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED required; technical school or trade certification preferred
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or other highly automated manufacturing environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, packaging equipment, or processing equipment
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
• Experience with welding, PLC troubleshooting, or robotics is a plus
• Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred
• Strong communication skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to work effectively with production teams
