As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data available and meaningful. Here, you’ll work with a multi-disciplinary team of data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment.

You Have:
2+ years of experience with data pipelines, including data acquisition, data prep, and database architecture
2+ years of experience in ETL development using Java, Python, SQL, or Scala
Experience with PostgreSQL or Kafka
Experience with AWS services
Experience with designing and implementing, containerizing, and deploying end-to-end automated data and ML pipelines, within a Cloud environment
Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and concepts to develop an MLOps ecosystem
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools, such as Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams
Experience with NiFi
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
