Medical Billing Specialist - Full-Time

Are you looking for a rewarding career where you can make a difference in people's lives? The Eye Clinic of North Dakota is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team!

As an important part of our clinical team, you will support the medical billing process. This role ensures accurate claims processing, effective communication with insurance providers, and excellent organizational skills to communicate effectively with external billing providers for patient invoices.

No previous ophthalmology experience? No problem! We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for helping others.

What You'll Do

• Ensure patient charges accurate in billing system.
• Work diligently with third party billing.
• Assist with pre-authorizations for the clinic.
• Respond daily to E-fax.
• Submit patient payments to third party billing.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records.
• Help ensure an efficient, organized, and positive patient experience.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare medical records experience a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and compassionate approach to patient care.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop new clinical skills.
