It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!
We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.
Peter Millar was founded in 2001 with a single cashmere sweater offered in 24 colors. Based in Raleigh and Durham, North Carolina, the American lifestyle brand has grown to include luxury performance sportswear, seasonal resort and country club apparel, sophisticated classics, casually refined tailored clothing and sartorial accessories.
We strive to capture timeless style upgraded with signature innovations, in designs that are in tune with modern life. We embrace working hard, being kind and doing right by our customers, aiming to set a higher standard for the apparel industry.
The Senior Integrated Marketing Manager, Golf, is the strategic brand lead for the Peter Millar golf business, responsible for translating enterprise priorities, consumer insight, product direction, and the golf calendar into integrated marketing strategies that strengthen Peter Millar's leadership in golf and continue to elevate the brand. Reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Management, this role leads golf brand planning and full-funnel campaign development. The Senior Manager serves as a senior cross-functional partner to Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, Sales, Digital Commerce, Media, Social, Public Relations, International, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service, while helping ensure that golf storytelling contributes to the broader Peter Millar brand. The role requires deep knowledge of amateur and professional golf, the golf apparel marketplace, premium brand building, and a customer-service-first approach.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Own the annual and long-range golf brand marketing strategy, aligning priorities to Peter Millar's brand vision, business objectives, consumer personas, product, distribution strategy, and key moments in the global golf calendar.
- Translate golf strategy into clear seasonal and moment-based campaign plans, integrated calendars, creative briefs, audience strategies, channel roles, key performance indicators, budgets, and post-campaign recommendations.
- Lead integrated marketing for marquee golf moments and partnerships, including major championships, USGA and U.S. Open initiatives, PGA TOUR programs, team events, governing-body relationships, and other priority golf properties.
- Ensure golf campaigns are consumer-centered and connect Peter Millar's on-course authority with relevant off-course style, hospitality, travel, and lifestyle storytelling while protecting the distinct role of the golf brand strategy.
- Work with and support the Sports Marketing Manager in strategic activation plans for golf ambassadors and partners including major-championship storytelling, seasonal scripting narratives, photoshoots, content capture, win moments, media opportunities, retail and wholesale support, and performance recaps.
- Serve as a senior marketing liaison to priority golf business stakeholders, governing bodies, and agencies, delivering elevated service and ensuring programs support both brand equity and channel objectives.
- Guide the creative briefing and development process for golf campaigns. Provide clear strategic direction, align stakeholders, manage milestones and approvals, and uphold Peter Millar's visual identity, voice, intellectual-property requirements, and premium standards across every golf consumer touchpoint.
- Partner with Media, Digital Commerce, Social, Public Relations, and agency teams to build full-funnel plans that connect upper-funnel brand investment to consideration, engagement, traffic, customer acquisition, and commercial outcomes.
- Brief the Consumer Engagement team on opportunities and cultural moments for golf experiences and customer programs, including partner hospitality, high-touch events, and opportunities that reinforce Peter Millar's premium service model.
- Own assigned golf marketing budgets and forecasts, including investment recommendations, purchase-order and project-code discipline, monthly tracking, reconciliation, and partnership evaluation. Identify opportunities to reallocate resources toward the highest-impact priorities.
- Establish success measures and deliver concise reporting to the Senior Director of Brand Management and senior leadership. Evaluate brand impact, audience growth, reach, engagement, content performance, partner value, customer acquisition, traffic, and commercial contribution, then turn findings into action.
- Maintain a current point of view on amateur golf, professional golf, emerging players and personalities, golf culture, consumer behavior, apparel and footwear trends, competitive activity, media innovation, retail evolution, and partnership opportunities.
- Identify and evaluate new platforms, partnerships, experiences, and business-development ideas that can deepen Peter Millar's golf credibility, reach priority audiences, support international growth, and expand the brand's relevance with both traditional and new-wave golfers. Building the business case, clarifying resource requirements and presenting recommendations for leadership approval.
- Represent the golf marketing function in cross-functional planning forums, provide clear recommendations to senior stakeholders, resolve ambiguity, and drive decisions from strategy through execution.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and clear direction to internal partners, agencies, and project teams, establishing strong operating rhythms, accountability, and a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Own golf-specific creative workflows, including campaign briefs, partnership assets, licensed approvals, visuals and signage, digital experiences, microsites and sales-support materials; maintain timelines and protect brand standards across every channel.
