Position Details:
This is a part-time, position that offers room for career growth. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values cleanliness and organization, and is eager to contribute to the success of our culinary offerings.
Pay: Part-time, $18.00 -$20.00 an hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes, considering special dietary needs and nutritional requirements.
- Consistently prepare menu items to the highest standards.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance, including uniform care.
- Create daily lunch and dinner specials in line with club standards.
- Embrace a flexible schedule, including working Sundays and Mondays.
- Availability to work nights, (few late-night shifts, typically ending around 9:30-10:00 p.m.) weekends, and holidays.
- Assist the Executive Chef as directed and assume additional responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience in a high-volume professional kitchen.
- Team player with a positive attitude and passion for the culinary arts.
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Knowledge of and adherence to sanitation practices and procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills for accurate and timely work.
- Effective communication with colleagues and managers.
- Creativity in food preparation is highly encouraged.
- Ability to work at various banquet stations when required (omelet station, carving station, sauté station, etc.).
- High school level education or equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
