Description
Will consider high school students if availability fits business needs.
• Operate cameras and playback systems for city-managed cable TV channels.
• Create and/or perform graphics-related work as assigned to meet the needs of the division.
• Provide department production of community event programs and related audio/visual assistance including all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production.
• Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
Valid driver's license.
Must be 16 years of age.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
Must be available for, attend and be on time for scheduled shoots.
Related work or volunteer experience with municipal government or cable TV operations.
Working knowledge of video production process and equipment.
Ability to:
Work evenings and weekends, including in the summer (May-August).
Follow directions and get along well with fellow co-workers.
Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving whole body, including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds of equipment.
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in video production or related field
One (1) year experience in a similar position.
