This is a highly visible, high-impact leadership role with broad scope, offering the opportunity to shape Micron's technology roadmap and drive product enablement alongside a strong, cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive alignment of NAND requirements across business units and SSD development teams, translating needs into clear qualification specifications that guide product development
- Lead the development and adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled workflows to enhance analysis, decision-making, and execution efficiency across NAND development programs
- Drive system-level integration of NAND technology, working closely with Technology Development and Design Engineering to enable seamless adoption into SSD and end-customer applications
- Provide cross-functional leadership across Product Engineering, Business Units, Supply Chain, Fab, Assembly, and Test to ensure aligned execution and on-time delivery
- Establish and lead a NAND program management system, leveraging data insights to track priorities, manage risks, and drive execution toward qualification milestones
- Represent Product Engineering in key development forums, leading cross-functional discussions, influencing decisions, and aligning stakeholders on program direction and trade-offs
- Drive NAND capability readiness and data reviews, ensuring system development progresses toward successful customer qualification and sample delivery
- Lead complex problem solving across NAND-system interactions, guiding teams through ambiguity to resolve issues and maintain program momentum
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience applying data-driven or automation approaches to solve engineering or product development challenges; exposure to AI-enabled tools and workflows is a plus
- Familiarity with AI platforms (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or similar) or a strong interest in leveraging emerging technologies to enhance engineering productivity and decision-making
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience working across development, business, and operations teams to drive alignment and execution
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with demonstrated capability to navigate ambiguity and lead teams through complex technical challenges
- Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions across a global organization
- Solid understanding of NAND technology, including device/design, validation, test flows, reliability, and failure analysis; ability to extend into system-level product enablement and architecture is highly valued
