Cyber Security Architect

As a Cyber Security Architect, you will be responsible for definining, implementing, and managing cyber security strategies protecting company systems, networks, and data from external and internal threats. You will ensure that every new initiative is Secure-by-Design and that our infrastructure evolves toward a robust Zero Trust model. This role requires an in-depth understanding of security technologies, regulations, and cyber security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Designing security solutions to safeguard company systems and data, ensuring Security-by-Design principles are integrated into all projects from the early stages.
• Identifying vulnerabilities in existing systems and proposing corrective actions or mitigations.
• Collaborating with all teams to embed security best practices into business processes.
• Supporting security incidents management.
• Supporting application security management.
• Defining and updating policies in line with current regulations (e.g. NIS2, GDPR) and industry standards.
• Promoting internal training and awareness initiatives on cyber security topics.
• Proactively staying at the forefront of cybersecurity trends, ensuring that technical skills and security strategies are continuously updated to counter the latest cyber threats.

Key Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in roles such as Cyber Security Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Solution Architect.
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, cryptography, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST and ISO 27001).
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles.
• Understanding of application security principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Language Skills:

• Italian: native or bilingual proficiency (C2).
• English: B2 level or above, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cyber security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP).
• Architectural certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solution Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect, SABSA).
