- 2401 S. Broadway Ave. Moore, OK 73160, USA.
- Full-Time.
Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company - is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators to drive/operate and control large equipment and vehicles including bulldozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, scraper/tractor pans, track hoes, motor graders, mixers, and water trucks.
Requirements:
- Skilled heavy equipment operators with verifiable experience running either some or all of the following equipment: Grader, Dozer, Scraper, Track hoe, Mixer, and Front-end Loader.
- Unload equipment from vehicles.
- Knowledge of the machine settings.
- Maintain equipment functionality often.
- Keep performance record(s) of machine functionality regularly.
- Provide preemptive maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunction.
- Pre trip and post trip inspections/evaluations of the equipment.
Heavy Equipment Operator Skills:
- Hand and foot coordination.
- Good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work as a team.
- Strong critical thinking ability.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions that prevent accidents and property damage.
- Physical ability to work in a strenuous work environment and strength to operate heavy equipment.
- Decision-making abilities.
Qualifications:
- Must pass the background check, and drug screen/physical.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, such as bending, standing, crouching, shoveling, etc.
- Must adhere to safety requirements and procedures.
