Pay.cetera is looking for a motivated (Senior) Cash Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in our daily payment ecosystem. You will handle essential day-to-day tasks like payment approvals and account reconciliation while ensuring our product processes are meticulously documented for regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity for a senior professional to grow into strategic product work as our product portfolio expands and matures. Join us in a mixed role that balances operational excellence with supportive product development. Note: This role is based in Venlo (5 mins across the border) with a 50% on-site requirement. Enjoy flexibility to work the rest of your time from home or from our Cologne (Carlswerk) office!
Your Tasks
- You are the backbone of our daily payment operations and hold full accountability for the integrity of our end-to-end approval and reconciliation processes to guarantee seamless transactions.
- Create and maintain detailed product and process documentation required for regulatory compliance, covering end-to-end workflows from customer action to merchant settlement.
- Support the product team in defining compliant workflows and operational processes for new features, such as third party integrations or licensing procedures.
- Design and establish professional process diagrams to provide a transparent, clear overview of technical and operational steps for stakeholders.
Your Experience
- Deep understanding of modern payment infrastructures, regulatory compliance requirements, and operational financial processes.
- A degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Business Law or similar is highly preferred.
- While we will provide training, experience with SAP and Salesforce is a major plus. Familiarity with tools like Miro or Confluence is also desirable.
- Proficiency in English and German is required.
