Adviser: Virtual Short-Term Insurance

A leading organisation is seeking a Virtual Short-Term Insurance Adviser to provide solution-orientated advice across Commercial and Personal Lines. The successful candidate will deliver professional virtual and hybrid advice, identify opportunities to grow the client portfolio, and build sustainable relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert short-term insurance advice and tailored solutions to meet clients' needs.
• Service clients on request and proactively review portfolios to identify opportunities and ensure ongoing suitability.
• Achieve agreed sales and growth targets within a virtual and hybrid advice model.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, bankers, insurers and Life Advisers.
• Apply sound practice management principles and ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

• NQF Level 5 qualification in Short-Term Insurance.
• RE5, with relevant Class of Business training up to date.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Commercial Insurance sales.
• The required FAIS Fit and Proper credentials, including an FSCA-approved qualification, relevant experience, CPD and a record of honesty, integrity and good standing.
• A valid driver's licence and own vehicle.
• Strong sales, relationship-building, communication and client-service skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a virtual and hybrid environment while consistently delivering against targets.
