We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intern to support our Global Benefits and Talent Acquisition teams in creating a centralized, user-friendly benefits knowledge hub. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and consolidating employee benefit information across multiple countries, identifying benefit variances, and transforming complex data into an engaging and searchable experience for our recruiters.
The successful candidate will develop an enhanced Excel-based benefits database with a microsite-style look and feel using SharePoint, enabling Talent Acquisition teams to quickly search and compare benefits by country. The end goal is to equip recruiters with accurate, accessible information that helps them confidently communicate our employee value proposition and benefits offering to candidates during the hiring process.
As an Intern – Benefit Tool Developer, you will be responsible for:
Partnering with our Total Rewards Benefits stakeholders to gather and validate employee benefits data across all countries.
Researching, documenting, and maintaining country-specific benefit offerings ensuring accuracy in the varying criteria, and key differentiators.
Identifying and cataloguing benefit variations, unique offerings, and regional distinctions.
Designing and developing a centralized benefits database using advanced Excel functionality.
Creating an intuitive "microsite" user experience within Excel, including navigation, dashboards, filtering, search capabilities, and visual summaries.
Translating complex benefits information into recruiter-friendly summaries and talking points.
Collaborating with Talent Acquisition teams to understand recruiter needs and optimize the user experience.
Producing reporting and insights on database usage, data completeness, and maintenance requirements.
Supporting continuous improvements to enhance usability and adoption.
To be successful in this role you will:
Be currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field.
Have advanced Excel skills with strong data management and data quality capabilities.
Have experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, or similar digital tools.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize complex data into user-friendly solutions.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
Have strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with confidence working across global teams.
Have exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Be curious, innovative, and passionate about improving user experiences and creating practical solutions.
Success Measures
By the end of the internship, the successful candidate will have:
Delivered a centralized global benefits database covering all participating countries.
Created an intuitive recruiter experience that enables benefits information to be found within seconds.
Improved recruiter confidence in communicating benefits during offer discussions.
Established a sustainable process for maintaining and updating benefit information.
Partnered effectively with Total Rewards and Talent Acquisition teams to enhance the candidate experience through stronger benefit communication.
