Position Summary
The bilingual Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily operations of the Human Resources Department by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, compliance activities, employee relations support, and HR reporting. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with company policies, food manufacturing regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
Essential Functions

Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.
- Conduct or assist with orientation and new hire paperwork.
- Prepare onboarding materials and maintain hiring records.
- Coordinate pre-employment screenings, E-Verify, and background checks.
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records.
- Process employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of HR documentation.
- Assist with employment verifications
Employee Relations Support
- Respond to employee questions regarding company policies, benefits, check stubs, and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Support employee engagement activities and recognition programs.
Compliance & Leave Administration
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain I-9 records and audit documentation.
- Support audits, certifications, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
- Bilingual English/Spanish REQUIRED.
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred
- May substitute education with experience or experience with education
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, agriculture, restaurant chains, or distribution environments a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Outlook and Word. Excel experience preferred.
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS a plus
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to visit production areas while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
Work Environment
- Exposure to cold production areas, noise, and plant operations.
- May require rare evening or weekend work to support business needs.
