Description
SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across core HR functions, serving as a key point of contact for employees and managers on day-to-day HR matters. The HR Coordinator helps ensure smooth execution of HR programs and processes, supports the HR team with reporting and audits, and contributes to a positive employee experience by responding to routine inquiries and escalating complex issues appropriately. This position requires strong attention to detail, discretion with confidential information, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain employee information in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) in an accurate and timely manner
- Order labor posters for field stations
- Update DSHS and OAG websites with new hires and terminations
- Process monthly OAG exclusion reporting to clinical department
- Process verifications of employment
- Pull HRIS data as requested for Workers' Comp or other legal matters
- Manage the internal department communication system and ensure that all incoming emails are routed to the correct team members
- Generate HR data reports as necessary
- Provide support to employees with routine problem resolution (e.g., password resets, directing employees to the appropriate resource)
- Administer policies and procedures in alignment with company expectations
- Ensure legal compliance with governmental laws and regulations covering employment
- Oversee Driver's License and DSHS Certification monitoring
- Perform special assignments or tasks as assigned by manager

HYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is primarily performed remotely in a home office environment. The role requires the ability to work effectively at a computer for extended periods, including frequent use of a keyboard, mouse, monitor, and telephone or video conferencing technology. The employee must be able to communicate effectively through virtual and electronic means and maintain a safe, functional workspace conducive to performing job responsibilities. Occasional movement, sitting, standing, and the ability to lift or move light office materials may be required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two (2) year degree or two (2) years HR related experience
- Proficient in using an HRIS system and other HR related systems
- Proficient using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable
PAY AND BENEFIT INFORMATION
This position is a non-exempt, hourly position starting at $26.50 per hour. The position is benefit eligible after 30 days and eligible for PTO after 90 days.
