SUMMARY:
MCAD is seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator. This position is responsible for the planning, coordinating, and production of emails to prospective students, content for the website, and paid and organic social media. The Digital Marketing Coordinator must be sensitive to college needs, employee and student goodwill, and overall brand equity of MCAD as an employer and educational institution.
DETAILS: This is a full time, non-exempt position expected to work 35 hours a week. This position reports to the Digital Marketing Director and is paid 25.50 - 27.50 hourly.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the production of multimedia content for digital marketing.
- Oversee the planning and production of email marketing initiatives to prospective undergraduate and graduate students using best practices.
- Implement organic social media strategy. Create, monitor, and report on paid social media campaigns to college stakeholders.
- Review and evaluate web content for accuracy, performance, and audience relevance.
- Maintain editorial voice and quality for electronic materials for external audiences and college messaging.
- Gather information from diverse sources throughout the college to develop online materials. Establish the source of truth of content and the process for delivering the content on the web.
- Research current trends and best practices in higher-education web and greater web fields. Implement updates to web content accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has supervisory responsibility for student employees.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interactive media, graphic design, communications, marketing, or a related field, required.
- Two (2) years of writing and digital content production experience, required.
- Demonstrated understanding of digital communication practices, required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, required.
- Demonstrated self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to detail, required.
- Overall proficiency in Google suite, email, and basic computer concepts, required.
- Strong writing skills and familiarity to Chicago Manual of Style, required.
- CRM database experience, preferred.
- HTML/CSS proficiency, preferred.
- Experience with social media, preferred.
- Basic Drupal (Content Management System) understanding, preferred.
- Appreciation of the visual arts and working with artists and designers, preferred.
