Monday - Friday 3 PM - 11 PM
Starting Pay is $21.23 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
Candidate Must Have 2+ Years of Hospital/Security Experience and Must be 21+ Years Old
As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response to routine concerns. - Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and help support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with site leadership, clinical staff, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
