Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | $120,000–$180,000/year

If bankruptcy and restructuring is where you’ve built your legal experience, this is an opportunity to join a full-service firm with a strong, established practice and room to grow.

You’ll work on matters involving creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders across Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 proceedings. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex legal and financial issues while developing your practice and client relationships.

What you’ll do:
• Handle bankruptcy and restructuring matters
• Represent clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 proceedings
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and transactional documents
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues
• Assist partners with case strategy, negotiations, and resolution
• Appear in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and strategy
• Manage case deadlines, filings, and multiple matters
• Support business development initiatives as needed

What you bring:
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission
• Experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation
• Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and restructuring principles
• Experience drafting bankruptcy-related pleadings, motions, briefs, and transactional documents
• Strong legal research, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and multiple case deadlines
• Comfortable with court appearances and courtroom advocacy
• Strong professional judgment, ethics, attention to detail, and client-service skills
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Philadelphia
