About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing, Beijing / within Reservations, the Reservation Agent is responsible for hotel room reservation operation. The Reservation Agent reports to the Reservation Supervisor.

工作地点为北京王府井文华东方酒店/预订部，预订员负责确保酒店客房预订的日常运营。预订员向预订主管汇报。

As Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

作为预订员，您将负责以下职责：

• Provide a personal consultation and will assist all guests with selecting most ideal possible room choice. Handle several telephone calls at any given time.
• 为客人介绍、推荐客人所需的最佳房型。为客人预订客房，满足客人的各种需求。
• The ability to recite all information regarding hotel facilities, hours of operation, key personnel, special activities and functions in the hotel.
• 完全了解酒店客房类型和设施，例如水疗设施、餐厅等。
• Utilize the computer system in retrieving, updating room reservations.
• 利用计算机系统检索、更新房间预订。
• Communicate and work with other departments when it is required.
• 需要时，就客人所需与相关部门沟通合作。
• Complete follow through of no-show and late cancellation charges.
• 完全执行未入住和延迟取消预订的收费政策。
• Ensures that Guest History is updated and acted upon accordingly.
• 更新客史，并依此为客人提供预订 。
• Cooperate and coordinate teamwork with other departments .
• 与其他部门协作，发挥团队精神。

As Reservation Agent, we expect from you:

• Knowledge and grasp of hotel distribution systems (GDS, internet, etc.)

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
