Description
European Automotive Technician — Eurotechnik
Fletcher, NC · Full-Time
Fifteen Years of Doing It the Right Way
Eurotechnik started as one person in one bay who believed customers deserved honesty over upselling. Fifteen years and two shops later, that hasn't changed — we've just gotten better at it, and we've built a team of 15 around that same belief. We've been deliberate about who joins us, and it shows: most of our team has already passed the two-year mark.
We're growing again, and we're looking for an experienced European automotive technician who's done chasing shops that talk a big game and deliver a burnt-out crew. If you've spent years mastering your craft and you're ready to put that skill somewhere it's actually valued, keep reading.
What Sets Us Apart
A four-day week. Our shop runs Monday through Thursday. That's it. No creeping into Friday, no rotating Saturdays. When your week is done, it's done — and you get three days that are actually yours.
Shops built for the work, not just to look good. Both locations are fully air-conditioned, year-round. No sweating through August or fighting numb fingers in January. We've also invested heavily in our tool inventory — Autologic, ISTA, VCDS, ODIS, Xentry, and the specialty tools that make European diagnostics and repair actually efficient instead of a fight. If a job calls for a specific tool, chances are we already own it. If we don't, we'll get it.
A team that actually backs each other up. We don't run a shop where techs are pitted against each other or left to sink or swim solo. Mistakes get owned and fixed, not buried. Good work gets noticed. When someone's slammed, the shop pitches in.
Real investment in where you're headed. Paid, manufacturer specific training and a genuine path upward — we're building out more roles and more opportunity as we grow, and we'd rather promote from inside than hire from outside.
What You'll Do
• Diagnose, service, and repair European makes — BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, and more
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and advanced diagnostics using OEM-level tools and software
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on findings, timelines, and recommendations
• Stay current on evolving European vehicle systems and repair techniques
• Keep your bay organized and hold the line on shop safety standards
What You Bring
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with European vehicles (or a strong general technician background and real desire to specialize)
• Manufacturer and/or ASE certifications, or willingness to work toward them
• Comfort with diagnostic platforms like Autologic, ISTA, VCDS, ODIS, and Xentry
• Your own hand tools — we handle every specialty tool from there
• Sharp problem-solving instincts, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude
What You'll Get
• Competitive pay plus a real production bonus: an extra $5/hr on all flagged hours once you hit 45 hours produced, and another $5/hr on top of that at 55 hours produced — both retroactive
• Monday–Thursday schedule
• Climate-controlled shops, top-tier equipment
• Uniforms provided, laundry service included — show up, we handle the rest
• Paid training and continuing education
• Health insurance with 80% of your premium covered, plus dental and vision at a group discounted rate
• Simple IRA with a 3% company match
• PTO starting at one week, growing by 20 hours for every year you stay, up to three weeks
• A clear path to grow with us — not just a job to fill
If you're the kind of technician who takes pride in getting it right the first time, and you want to do that work somewhere that respects your time as much as your skill, we'd like to talk.
