Eaton provides a competitive total rewards package commensurate with applicable skills, knowledge, and experience and consistent with internal and external market practices. The annual salary for this role is $82,000 a year. This position offers a one-time $6,000 signing bonus.
## What you’ll do:
The Technical Sales Leadership Development Program (TSLDP) is a two-year rotational program within Eaton's Electrical Sector designed to develop future sales and business leaders. Through two one-year rotations, participants gain hands-on technical, commercial, and leadership experience while building expertise in Eaton's products, solutions, and customer-focused sales strategy. Structured training, mentorship, and real-world assignments prepare participants to deliver value-driven solutions to distributors, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and end customers while building strong relationships across Eaton's businesses and customer channels.
Year One Rotation (Asheville, NC)
Participants will complete one of the following technical assignments designed to build foundational product knowledge, customer understanding, and business expertise:
- Project Engineer/Coordinator – Project Management Organization
- Technical Support Engineer – Technical Resource Center
- OEM Account Engineer
- Critical Power & Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Account Engineer
Year Two Rotation
Participants will transition into an Inside Sales Engineer role at an Eaton sales office located anywhere within the United States. In this customer-facing assignment, participants will apply their technical knowledge and sales skills to support customers, develop solutions, drive business growth, and prepare for future sales leadership opportunities.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a graduation date before August 2027
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8

Preferred Qualifications:
- Overall cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community
- Ability to speak a second language
- Enrolled in an engineering or business degree from an accredited institution
## Skills:
Position Criteria:
- The first assignment will be in Asheville, NC. The second assignment will be in a district sales office within the United States.
- This role may include travel (up to 25%) within a local region as determined by the Technical Sales assignment manager
- This role may require the employee to maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
