Product Manager, SaaS & AI

## About this Role

Vodafone is building a trusted, compliant, and monetizable AI Agents ecosystem for SMEs and Corporate customers. The AI Product Manager owns the end-to-end strategy, design, governance, and in-life performance of agentic AI products, including voice agent delivered via Vodafone’s marketplace and managed services. You will drive agent supply (partner onboarding + curation) and customer adoption, ensuring agents are safe, compliant, high‑quality, and simple for SMEs to discover, buy, and scale.

The role spans multi-agent architecture, platform integrations (e.g. Gemini Enterprise, Copilot Studio), lifecycle governance, security & privacy, and commercialization, ensuring our customers can confidently discover, purchase, and scale AI agents that drive real outcomes

Strategic Context:

Why now: Traditional SaaS growth is plateauing; customers expect outcome-based, intelligent services. Agentic AI is reshaping how work gets done; customers expect outcome-based solutions that are secure, compliant, and easy to adopt.

Opportunity: Vodafone can become the preferred partner for curated, enterprise-ready agents with integrated billing, governance, and lifecycle management—especially for SMEs that need simplicity and trust.

Operating model: Operate in ambiguity, stand up new frameworks, run rapid pilots, and align cross-functional teams to take products from an innovation phase to BAU patterns to deploy in markets.

## What you’ll do

Product Strategy & Leadership

• Curate and manage first and third‑party agents within the marketplace, ensuring quality, safety, and partner readiness. Set quality, publishing, and performance standards.

• Own and define the vision, strategy, roadmap, commercial models, pricing, packaging, revenue share, and partner commercial frameworks for AI Agents and AI powered SaaS, aligned to Vodafone’s growth objectives.
• Lead market analysis, customer research, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities and inform product direction.

• Lead the deployment and release management for agents on platforms
• Lead end‑to‑end lifecycle management of agent, from onboarding and configuration to release, governance, and retirement.
• Monitor and optimise AI Agent performance through KPIs
• Define onboarding, configuration standards, catalogue rules, and in-life governance for AI Agents, including versioning, safe updates, rollback, and end-of-life policies.
• Develop voice-enabled agent solutions (call, chat, omnichannel).
• Lead the development of Pre‑built SME templates or workflows (e.g., “AI agent for appointment booking”)

## Who you are

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven product management experience, ideally with AI Agents and/or Agent Marketplaces.
• Deep understanding of AI Agent frameworks (including agent-to-agent protocols), AI governance, and compliance.
• Strong technical acumen in cloud, API integration, identity/security, and observability.
• Expertise in customer-centric design and Design Thinking.
• Track record of leading innovation, rapid experimentation, and operationalizing new technologies.
• Commercial mindset with pricing, packaging, and business case development.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Ability to distil customer/partner feedback into clear PRDs and acceptance criteria.
• Experience taking AI features from concept, prototype, production, scaled adoption with KPIs and measurable ROI.
