Senior All-Source Intelligence Analyst (Functional Lead, Analytic Tradecraft)

We are seeking a senior all-source analyst to serve as the program's authority on analytic tradecraft, supporting all-source teams across DIA's regional and functional intelligence centers. This is a player-coach role: you stay engaged in analytic production while owning the quality standard every all-source product is held to.

Why this role: Functional Leads set the standard for their discipline across the whole program, not just one team. You mentor practitioners across multiple DIA centers, shape how the program hires and trains, and grow along a defined leadership path.

Position is contingent upon contract award. Selected candidates receive contingent offers in advance of award. All discussions are held in confidence and do not affect current employment.

 

Work Schedule: M-F 8 hours/day

 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Set and maintain the program's analytic tradecraft standards, aligned with Intelligence Community Directives 203 and 206

• Lead product quality and peer review; coach analysts on sourcing, argumentation, and expressing uncertainty

• Mentor all-source analysts across centers and build their professional development and certification paths

• Author and maintain tradecraft procedures and position guides for all-source functions

• Serve on hiring panels and technical review boards for all-source candidates

• Contribute to analytic production as a senior analyst

 

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

• Active TS/SCI security clearance

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

• 10+ years of all-source intelligence analysis supporting DoD or the Intelligence Community

• Demonstrated experience reviewing intelligence products against IC analytic standards

• Experience mentoring, training, or leading analysts

 

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 10

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DIA or the Defense Intelligence Enterprise

• ODNI or agency tradecraft evaluation experience, or formal product review responsibility

• Certified Defense All-Source Analyst (CDASA)

• Experience designing analyst training or professional development programs

 

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

Compensation Details:

$120,000 - $160,000
