Senior Analyst - Materials Planning

## What you’ll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Lead new product development material planning to ensure proper supplier selection, negotiate component costs, and support ramp up activities while maintaining precise control of inventory levels to ensure the provision of raw materials and correct prediction, through effective planning materials

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1\. Lead material planning for the introduction of new products and designs in production lines, as well as transfers of existing products.

2\. Lead procurement of prototype components from the manufacturing line for various levels of engineering test.

3\. Support CO implementation process and coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management teams for efficient execution.

4\. Coordinate and / or providing support programs and projects to reduce costs, optimize logistics processes, operations processes, projects Materials / Supply Chain and variation from the goals of the company.Monitor inventory levels of parts in the AS400 system.

5\. Monitor forecast information to ensure that the options of the inventory levels are maintained, to avoid backlogs and to cover situations previously planned inventories.

6\. Plan, monitor and manage the material in the areas of provision.

7\. Provide monthly reports of inventory levels of the plant, both in costs as production days.

8\. Weekly inventory analysis based on ABC (documentation main detractors).

Provide direct support with the accounting department for physical inventory process.

2.1 - Responsibilities related to Health, Safety and Environment (EHS)

1\. Execute 100% of monthly safety inspection, in coordination with the MESH Coordinator.

2\. Assist to all EHS training assigned.

## Qualifications:

1\. Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar careers.

2\. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar areas.

3\. Bilingual (English/Spanish)

4\. PC knowledge, Microsoft Office, AS400, Windows, Access.

5\. Preferred: Experience in controlling costs, materials warehouse and / or area of Manufacturing. Knowledge of MAPICS / Vista

 Outdated systems that provide erroneous results in the material system

 Customer Orders that were not planned for production.

 Materials not arrived in time to the Materials Warehouse.

 Differences between Load Plan production and actual production.

6.6 Principal Accountabilities:

 Maintain availability of materials set to Load Plan.

 Maintain, for parts, AS400 system, updated and eliminating obsolete parts.

DIMENSIONS:

 Inventory management costs, manufacturing costs (extra hour due to rupture of inventory, etc.), air freight costs.

 Produce impact on the documentation of On Time Performance metrics, Fill Rate and Sales.
