Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes in the conductive fabric workshop.
- Prepare, maintain, and update process documentation for the workshop.
- Assist in resolving product quality issues, identify root causes, and provide effective corrective actions.
- Provide product routing, capacity evaluation, and tooling/fixture assessment during new product quotation stages.
- Continuously improve process capability, including enhancement of production efficiency, reduction of scrap rates, and process optimization.
- Track the introduction of new products and materials, conduct process capability validation and risk assessments, and complete relevant documentation, including Flow Charts, PFMEA, SOPs, etc.
- Resolve production issues and provide technical support.
- Develop preventive/corrective action plans and track implementation.
- Audit production processes to ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 standards.
- Perform other ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements:
- Proficient in electroplating and reel-to-reel plating processes, especially electroplating processes for non-metallic materials such as fabrics and films. Familiar with electroless copper, nickel, and tin plating processes. Highly skilled in electrolytic copper, nickel, and tin plating processes, as well as vacuum plating processes.
- Familiar with metal plating, rack plating, and reel-to-reel plating processes.
- Familiar with various plating methods used for different materials in the market and capable of providing clear electroplating solutions based on customer material requirements.
- Proficient in using CAD for drawing and designing products, molds, and fixtures. Experience with Pro/ENGINEER (Pro/E) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of leading teams to resolve unexpected production issues and quickly identify effective solutions.
- Experience in managing electroplating-related projects.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, or a related field.
- CET-4 (College English Test Band 4) or above.
- At least 5 years of relevant process engineering or manufacturing experience in related industries.
