▪ Reverse engineer components and support measurement activities where engineering documentation is incomplete or requires validation
▪ Develop and maintain standard work instructions for recurring inspection activities, measurement setups, CMM programs, portable arm programs, and reporting processes
▪ Identify opportunities to automate inspection reports, reduce manual data entry, improve consistency, and increase inspection throughput
▪ Use scripting, macros, software tools, or other programming methods to improve inspection efficiency, reporting consistency, and quality data usability
▪ Support Quality Technicians with inspection setup, program execution, measurement troubleshooting, and interpretation of GD&T requirements
▪ Provide technical training and mentoring to Quality Technicians on inspection equipment, inspection software, programming practices, GD&T interpretation, and standardized workflows
▪ Support creation, compilation, review, and maintenance of inspection records and required quality documentation
▪ Assist with FAIR, PPAP, control plan, and customer deliverable documentation as needed
▪ Support root cause analysis, corrective action, and failure analysis activities by providing accurate measurement data, inspection studies, and technical input
▪ Interface with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and internal Quality team members to communicate inspection results, measurement concerns, and part quality issues
▪ Support gage calibration activities, gage audits, and measurement system readiness to maintain ISO certification requirements
▪ Participate in DFM/DFA reviews, PFMEA discussions, and gauge/fixture planning as the technical inspection representative when needed
▪ Maintain inspection program revision control, documentation traceability, and preservation of records as they apply to specific serial numbers, lots, batches, and customer requirements
