Senior Production Operator

Time served engineer/technician (typically apprenticed). Specific technical skills such as PLC control, programming (robots, multi-axis CNCs etc.), specialist fabrication etc. Operates more complex and more technically demanding processes. Focuses on daily and weekly activities. Performance of multiple activities specific in objective and content but require specific relatively complex technical skills and training to undertake.

JOB PURPOSE

Make the job allocation/arrangement in the shift, ensure production running smoothly and effectively. To make chemicals products/catalysts according to manufacturing procedures in a safety manner, and make sure all products meet spec, fully follow EHS policies and requirement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Organize production, fulfil production according to manufacturing schedule.
• Follow ISO9001 requirement, maintain good quality practice. Focus on continuous improvement.
• Provide training to new operators.
• Responsible for the shift safety and quality.
• Participation on manufacturing scheduling.
• Ensure shift operators to properly use machine, equipment and tool, keep worksite clean.
• Prepare shift record. Report any abnormal happened in the shift (quality, EHS/PSM etc.).
• Actively take part in EHS/PSM activities.
• Organize/lead evacuation activity when emergency happens in the shift, and report to manager immediately.
• Other tasks designated by manager/supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS ​

• High school, technical school or above
• More than 3 years experience in manufacturing field
• Team leader experience is desirable
• Have ISO9000 training
• Experience in Chemicals industry is desirable
• Organize production activities in the shift, operate multi production equipment
• Inter-personnel communication
• Ability to Meet Deadlines
• Organize/lead evacuation activity when emergency happens in the shift, and report to manager immediately
• Report to leader/manager when abnormal happen and trouble shooting
• To get related certificate after training when job required
• Safety awareness/MSDS awareness
• Read simple document in English
