Description
As a Facility Supervisor, you will help maintain safe and secure operation of the facility and contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for all who contact or visit the facility. Staff is needed to work assigned shifts on weekday evenings and weekends, as well as to substitute on an as-needed basis. Weekday evening shifts must be able to work 5 p.m. to closing; weekend shifts must be able to work from 8 a.m. to closing.

Ability to communicate fluently (speak, read, write) in both English and Spanish is preferred. - Answer telephones, greet visitors and rental patrons, and provide appropriate services, information, or assistance.
- Assist with special events, activities, and other duties as needed or assigned.
- Manage and monitor rentals and ensure compliance with facility rules and rental agreement terms.
- Set up and clean up rooms used for scheduled activities/events and perform other general cleaning and/or maintenance duties.
- Ensure security of the building before/after working hours.
- Ensure public-use equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Work regular shifts and/or substitute for other Facility Supervisors as needed.
- Perform routine administrative and other tasks in support of facility projects and programs.
- Provide outstanding service, pursue continuous improvement, and exceed expectations.
- Be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated professional work habits including punctuality, reliability, dependability and adaptability.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, time management, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to fluently speak, read, and write in English and Spanish preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft 365) and ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick and sound decisions, problem solve, and prioritize.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and as part of the team.
- Physical ability to set-up/clean up rooms for activities, rentals, and meetings (able to lift/carry materials weighing up to 40 pounds)
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (may be obtained through the City upon hire).
- Or any acceptable equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to satisfactorily perform job duties and functions.
