Restaurant Manager – Luxury 4 Star Hotel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join a beautiful 4-star country house hotel in Hertfordshire. Set within stunning grounds, this established hotel offers an impressive Food & Beverage operation across its restaurant, bar and terrace, welcoming both hotel guests and visitors throughout the year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Restaurant Manager who loves being on the floor, leading a team and creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day restaurant operation, working closely with the wider Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams to ensure every service runs smoothly and to a consistently high standard.

• £35,000 per annum plus circa £6,000 to £8,000 service charge

Your day-to-day will include:

• Taking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant and supporting the wider Food & Beverage operation
• Leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver excellent standards of service
• Being present on the floor throughout service, ensuring guests receive a warm and memorable dining experience
• Managing rotas, training, stock, costs and operational requirements across the department
• Driving Food & Beverage sales through strong product knowledge, confident upselling and a commercially minded approach

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years’ experience in a Food & Beverage management role within a quality hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment
• Is a confident, hands-on leader with strong people management skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ideally holds relevant Food & Beverage qualifications, such as WSET Level 2 and Level 2 Food Safety
