Working arrangements: Site based
Working pattern: 37 hours across 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday – 9.25 hours per day).
Overtime may be available on Fridays and Saturdays
We’re looking for an Integration and Test Technician to join our innovative team where your technical skills make a real impact. You’ll play a key role in conducting integration operations and supervising testing to ensure products operate smoothly whilst ensuring cost is prioritised.

About Under Water Systems (UWS)
Our purpose is to be the leading provider of underwater sensors and decision superiority, helping navies across the world keep our friends, families and all of us safe. We cover four sectors: Mine Counter Measures, Anti-Submarine warfare, Services and Future Capabilities.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform Electrical, Electronic assembly operations as defined by routings, manufacturing instructions, wiring schedules and drawings
Identify, log and diagnose faults, ensuring all build documentation is accurate and complete
Uphold workshop standards by properly using and maintaining production tools and equipment
Ensure production equipment and tools are used and maintained to the required workshop standards
Ideal Experience & Skills:
Experience in a Test in a production environment
Able to read circuit diagrams and engineering drawings
Strong knowledge of through-hole & surface mount tech
Skilled in fault diagnosis and repair down to component level
HNC/HND in Electronics or equivalent
Confident user of MS Word & Excel
Security Clearance Requirement: UK Eyes Only:
Due to the nature of the work that we do at Thales, many of our roles are subject to security restrictions. This role requires you to be a UK National and achieve Security Clearance (SC) without any caveats. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance prior to commencing employment. If approved by the MOD, a dual national from a non-ITAR country may be considered.
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years’ residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
