Audio Visual Operations Engineer Lead

The Opportunity:

The Audio Visual (AV) Operations Engineer Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and daily operational support of enterprise AV systems. This role ensures high‑quality, reliable AV experiences across conference rooms, collaboration spaces, event venues, and remote environments. The Lead also guides a team of AV technicians, sets operational standards, and partners closely with IT, facilities, and business stakeholders. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

• Experience designing, supporting, and troubleshooting enterprise AV systems
• Experience with conferencing platforms such as Microsoft Teams Rooms, or Zoom Rooms
• Experience with AV hardware including DSPs, control systems, switching or distribution equipment, microphones, speakers, and cameras
• Experience leading technical teams or managing operational workflows.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals such as VLANs, QoS, or AV-over-IP
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and support executive-level events
• HS diploma or GED

 

Nice If You Have:

• Experience in large enterprise, government, or multi-site environments
• Experience with monitoring and management platforms for AV and collaboration systems
• Possession of strong documentation, analytical, and project management skills
• Industry certifications such as CTS, CTS‑I, or CTS‑D
• Manufacturer certifications such as Crestron, QSC, or Extron

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
