Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Incident Reporting in Jonestown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Familiarity with managing access control systems and issuing badges is essential for maintaining a secure environment.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Proficiency in using technology is crucial for monitoring systems and reporting incidents effectively.
• Customer Service Experience (B219): Strong customer service skills are vital for interacting with the public and ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security protocols.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, offices, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
