- Regional Facilities & Property Leadership
- Lead the facilities and property portfolio across South Africa and Rest of Africa.
- Establish and implement a consistent regional facilities management framework.
- Define workplace standards, operating procedures, and service-level expectations across all locations.
- Provide strategic leadership to support business growth, office expansion, consolidation, and workplace optimisation initiatives.
- Property & Portfolio Management
- Manage leases, landlord relationships, renewals, acquisitions, and exits across the regional property portfolio.
- Lead property-related governance and compliance activities.
- Oversee workplace planning, office design standards, and fit-out requirements.
- Ensure all sites remain fit for purpose and aligned to business objectives.
- Johannesburg Office Relocation (2026)
- Serve as the senior facilities lead responsible for the Johannesburg office relocation project.
- Partner closely with project teams and key stakeholders throughout the planning and implementation phases.
- Establish workplace, facilities, wellness, and service standards to be replicated across the region.
- Deliver the project on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Facilities Operations
- Maintain accountability for day-to-day facilities operations across all locations.
- Oversee cleaning services, physical security, maintenance and repairs, reception services, office management, travel coordination support, and storage management.
- Manage stationery, consumables, pantry services, coffee bar operations, and employee amenities.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and workplace regulations.
- Drive continuous improvements in workplace experience and employee satisfaction.
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage all facilities-related vendor relationships across the region.
- Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and supplier onboarding activities.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service-level agreements.
- Drive cost optimisation and standardisation of vendor frameworks across all markets.
- Manage strategic partnerships with vendors including security, cleaning, storage, Bidvest, CSG, Top Vending, and other regional suppliers.
- New Market Launches
- Develop and implement a scalable model for establishing new offices across Africa.
- Coordinate facilities readiness and workplace setup activities for new market launches.
- Manage local supplier engagement through a centralised facilities governance framework.
- Ensure consistency in workplace standards across all new locations.
- Financial & Asset Management
- Own regional facilities budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
- Manage facilities-related capital and operational expenditure.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and maximise value from facilities investments.
- Oversee asset lifecycle management, stock control, and utilisation reporting.
- Data, Reporting & Governance
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks covering facilities performance, lease portfolios, vendor management, contracts, budgets, assets, and operational metrics.
- Produce management reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure robust governance across facilities operations, contracts, leases, assets, and compliance activities.
- Utilise facilities data to identify efficiency opportunities and support decision-making.
