Field Application Engineer for Microcontrollers

As a field application engineer for digital applications in Hanoi, you'll drive customer success through innovative solutions, hands-on technical support, and strong design-in engagement with key customers. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Drive design-in and design-win activities for Infineon Digital products , including Microcontrollers, Memory Solutions, and Ethernet System products, at key customers such as VinFast and VinRobotics. Serve as the primary technical contact and provide first-level technical support on product, application, and system-level topics. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Application Engineering, and Business Line teams to secure new business opportunities and ensure customer success. Understand customer technical requirements and propose innovative solutions leveraging Infineon's product portfolio. Support application development, system debugging, and issue resolution throughout the customer design cycle. Build and maintain strong relationships with customer engineering teams while developing a deep understanding of their technology roadmap and future needs. Deliver technical presentations, training sessions, and customer workshops to promote product adoption and business growth. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in electronic system design, application engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role. Strong understanding of microcontrollers, embedded systems, and electronic system design. Preferred to have experience in automotive electronics or automotive system development. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to troubleshoot system-level technical issues. Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to identify technical requirements and drive innovative design-win opportunities. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with good command of spoken and written English. Experience with Memory Solutions, Ethernet System products, robotics applications, or direct support of automotive OEMs/Tier-1 customers is a plus. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
