Description
1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Documentation
• Support the preparation and updating of Method Statements, Lifting Plans, Risk Assessments and other technical documents.
• Organize and maintain up-to-date technical project documentation.
Engineering Calculations
• Support the preparation of basic calculations for axle loads, load distribution, ground pressure and transport configurations.
• Prepare calculations and technical information for review by the Engineering lead.
Technical Drawings
• Prepare and update technical drawings, layouts and diagrams using AutoCAD or similar software.
Transport Planning
• Support the preparation of equipment configurations for abnormal transport and heavy transport operations.
• Support route surveys and the collection of technical field information.
Proposals and Budgets
• Support the preparation of technical documentation for tenders, RFQs and quotations.
• Prepare equipment lists, MTOs (Material Take-Offs) and technical specifications.
Project Follow-up
• Keep project records and technical trackers up to date.
• Track pending documentation and deadlines, reporting to the Engineering lead.
2. REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in engineering, transport, maintenance or industry.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Good ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of English, written and spoken.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with deadlines and priorities.
• Availability for field work when required.
• Experience in abnormal transport, heavy transport, lifting or rigging will be considered an advantage, but is not mandatory.
