ERP Business Analyst

Role: Business Analyst, Finance Support  (contractor 3mths)

Reporting to: ERP HCM Lead

Location: London

About the role

We're bringing in a Business Analyst to map and document Finance's end-to-end processes. You'll identify process and control gaps, produce the SOPs and training material Finance is currently missing, and deliver a prioritised remediation plan that feeds into next year's roadmap.

What you'll do

• Speak to every person in Finance to understand their day-to-day responsibilities and activities
• Build frameworks documenting how processes are currently done, including dependencies and non-Workday activities across teams
• Capture annual and quarterly activities (e.g. audit, transfer pricing) and ad hoc processes (e.g. new company or new bank account set-up)
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and collaboration between teams and systems
• Write SOPs and work with our Change Manager to create the training material
• Give Finance a clear, prioritised view of the gaps and their full scale

What you’ll bring

• Ability to enquire and dig deep to map out processes and issues (the most important quality)

• Ability to spot opportunities to improve processes and collaboration between teams and systems
• Comfortable interviewing everyone in Finance and turning those conversations into documented frameworks
• Ideally, experience of finance processes, specifically R2R, P2P and O2C

Plus points

• Finance transformation experience (a big plus)
• Workday Financials experience is not required, as the focus is on general processes
